At the time I was assigned this, my knowledge on the design of typefaces wasn’t large, so this was a interesting challenge. The project was fully designed in Adobe Illustrator and focused on the typeface, Futura. The project criteria was to create a type poster that showcased a typeface, and included the history of the typographer examples of anatomy, numbers, and glyphs. I was inspired by color palettes of the 1920’s, being it was created in the 1927. The poster was inspired by the geometric and blocky structure and aesthetic of the typeface.
